Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Gideon (the “Service”), operated by Jyngle Technologies Private Limited (operating as “Gideon”, “we”, “us”), an entity incorporated in India. By using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Gideon analyzes AWS CloudTrail exports that you provide and returns a security triage report — the notable actions that need your attention, with reasoning and recommended fixes, and the routine activity it dismissed. We offer a free one-time report and paid subscription plans for continuous monitoring. The Service is provided for informational purposes to assist your security review; you remain responsible for your own security decisions, and recommendations should be verified before you act on them. The Service is not a guarantee of security or compliance and does not replace a complete security program.

3. Plans, billing and payment

Paid plans (Continuous and Growth) are subscriptions billed monthly in US dollars (USD) at the prices shown on our pricing page, per AWS account. Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled. The free report is provided at no charge, limited to one per company, and we may decline or limit free reports at our discretion.

Our order process and payments are conducted by our reseller Paddle.com, which is the Merchant of Record for all orders. Paddle handles checkout, billing, applicable taxes, and payment-related support. Your purchase is also subject to Paddle’s Buyer Terms.

4. Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel at any time; your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period and is not renewed. Refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

5. Data

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. You retain all rights to the logs and data you submit. We use them only to provide the Service and delete uploaded logs within 7 days.

6. Intellectual property

We own all rights in the Service, including its software and content, excluding your data. You may not copy, resell, or reverse-engineer the Service.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will detect every threat or that its output is error-free.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the amounts you paid to us (via Paddle) in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms. You may stop using the Service and cancel any subscription at any time.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The courts at Bengaluru (Bangalore), Karnataka, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms — subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have under the laws of your country of residence.
